A message from LG

We are getting close to 1000 friends on our Coastal Justice Facebook page

...come on you guys let us reach 1000 by April 20th I know what we are all going through right now...everyone its a little bit of a different story but in one sense it is all the same... let us not forget the men and their families that were the first to be affected terribly by this.


The Deepwater Horizon, was a floating oil drilling platform in the Gulf of Mexico, that exploded on April 20, 2010 killing 11 and injuring 17 oil rig workers.


Methane gas escaped from the well and shot up the drill column, expanding quickly as it burst through several seals and barriers before exploding and igniting the Deepwater Horizon.


From that day on we all as just local residents had no clue what was to come a year later and many many years to follow...we had no idea what would happen to our environment and marine life, our health and finances. In my opinion this is worst then Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and my hometown is ground zero of Katrina.


Again we shall survive or die trying....we are all fighters on the Gulf Coast. We have already proved that. My dad works offshore and most of the men in my family has on my fathers side. So it effects me in the way that it could just of easily been a family member or friend. You just never know what way life will take you.


Just go it with it.... stand up for what you believe in...fight for what you believe in...and most importantly love one another and live every day as it is your last. Do what makes you happy and follow your instincts.


I know we will not give up on this....
