It just really honestly upsets me that our locals (some of them) the ones in office and in tourism or so oblivious to the fact that our beaches are so contaimated...why would they want tourist to come see this? Not what I would want to remember on my summer vacation....Whats a few dollars missing in our community for a year or so verses a life long remembrance of how you went on vacation to the Gulf Coast and saw dead turtles, dolphins and fish and the occasional dead armadillo on the not so white beaches of our Mississippi Coast. I am a life long resident. I love our community. I am all for tourism. I have worked in tourism most of my adult life. But come on what happened to common humanity?
